Where Does the Day Go?

It is crazy how fast some days seem to fly by. Alex had today off because we had to take the Hunt-man in to get an ultra sound on his clicky hip. Luckily, the screening came back normal, so whatever it was that was making his hip click at his check-up a couple of weeks ago has apparently fixed itself. After the ultra sound we came back home for a quiet, low-key afternoon consisting of lunch, a walk around the neighborhood, and a nice visit from Margaret. The day was topped off with Gramma Glenni cooking us a delicious dinner of Sloppy Joe's, Twice-Baked Potatoes, and Brownies. I know all of this doesn't sound like much, but the day just zoomed by, I can't believe it is already after 9!

Here are a few shoots of today's cuteness:

Also, my uncle sent me this video today and it put me in a patriotic mood. Its a concert that Kiss performed for some troops in Iraq. The hustle and bustle of civilian life sometimes makes it easy to forget about what our troops are doing for us, whether at home or on foreign territory. To all of the troops serving our country today and to those who have served in the past, thank you for the commitment and sacrifices that you have made to protect my family's lives and freedom. To all of you civilians, please remember that you do not have to support the war...but you should always support the troops.
