Well, today marks the first day of my 40th week and the whole article talks about what to expect when you see your baby for the first time.

Hmmm....not quite ready for this yet, as my man Hunter seems to just not want to leave his mamma's side just yet. He's calling all the shots now, all we have left to do is wait....and wait some more....and some more....
Alex did convince me to take a mental day off today. I woke up feeling a bit tired and blah, so he told me I deserve a day to just chillax at home. Reluctantly I accepted his offer, and now I am bored out of my mind. Luckily he is going to take a half day off from work to come hang out with me....which makes me wonder if he actually just wanted me to take the day off so that he could have an excuse to take a half a day off...hmmm,.....

ReplyDeleteI always say babies aren't ready to be born until the mommy breaks down and cries, "I can't take this anymore!" If you haven't reached that point, Hunter isn't ready. (And heaven help the dad when the tears start.)
