False Alarm

Today was the first time I had to bring Hunter to the doctor's for something other than a planned check-up. He had been pulling on his ears this week and his demeanor hasn't been as happy as it usually is, so we suspected an ear ache. That being said, he is teething and ear aches tend to be a symptom of that, but since he is recovering from a cold the nurse wanted us to bring him in to check for a possible infection. Fortunately the doctor did not see any sign of one.  Phew!  I'm not really that kind of mom that worries about everything, but in this case we decided its better to be safe than sorry.

I swear Hunter grew-up within the 6 hours that I was away at work today.  Doesn't he look so old?

Charlie was so relieved that Hunter didn't have an ear infection, he was so worried! He is such a caring big-bro.

This is Hunter staring at his dad cooking dinner. It is so funny how he just sits still with his eyes following Alex around the kitchen. He looks forward to this everyday!

Also, this week Hunter got to hang out with his Aunty Scrone. She discovered that he has a deep appreciation for reggae music. It inspired her to put together this Bob Marley-ish portrait:

She's definitely got a knack for that whole computer graphics thing!!

  2. They grow up too fast and change too quickly. I agree with Allie that they need so slow down and stay young for a bit!
