And I mean that in the most literal sense. Yesterday was Hunter's Baptism and he decided to kick off the ceremony with loading his diaper with the most vial smelling....well, I'm sure you know where I'm going with this. Alex spent the whole service sniffing the air and commenting on the cloud of stink that surrounded our group of five (Hunter, Alex, the godparents, and I). On top of which Huntman did raspberries during the opening prayer, kicked his socks/shoes off while we recited our Baptismal Rites, and played the drums on his knees while the priest was anointing him with some kind of Holy Oil. Lets just say he was a little on the rambunctious side. He was the only boy in the group of four, and I guess he just wanted to make his presence known. The other three babies slept or just stayed chill the whole time....in other words...they were boring!! Ah, Huntskies, you never cease to entertain me!!!
Unfortunately I don't have too many good pictures to share of the actual ceremony, but I'm sure you all can imagine how handsome he was.
After the ceremony we had a small gathering at the house complete with another game of "Pass the Baby". The afternoon was so busy and eventful, Hunter was wiped out after the last guest left...
But today he woke up re-energized and ready for more fun.
it was an awesome day. he did very well for his baptism. even if he was a little stinky. :) love you all.
