1 going on 16.....

The latest routine Hunter has been adhering to on a daily basis is as soon as I park the car in our driveway and unbuckle him from his seat, he hops into the driver seat and proceeds to press every button, turn every dial, and adjust all the mirrors. He knows where the key goes and how to put it in the ignition (don't worry folks, we don't let him turn the ignition) and he has to take my sun-glasses out of the sun-glasses compartment and put them on, even on the most cloudy day. At least he allows me to come along for the ride and insists that I sit in the passenger seat while he "drives".  He thinks he is so cool.....

He has a special chair for watching the game on tv....

He has had his very first guitar lesson....

He likes to help with important jobs, like taping the walls in preparation for some painting...

Throwing rocks into the ocean is another favorite past time, we are so glad to be living in an area that makes this a possibility more often!!

He is an active participant in arts and crafts at school and came home with the sweetest bundle of goodies for me in honor of mom's day

Hmm, what else can I tell you about Bubs....other than he is pretty much the most amazing thing in the world. His vocabulary is filled with uncountable words and we are able to have actual conversations with him, and for the most part we are able to reason with him (he has a vast understanding of everything we say). He takes over the reading of the books during our books and bed routine. He makes decisions and requests. He still likes to be my little helper, whatever I am doing, he wants to do it too (he even likes to help with the laundry!!).  I guess to sum it up....my baby boy is growing up right before our very eyes!!
