that some people live in a world where children cannot run around and play with their friends on a sunny, spring morning
that some people live in a world where grandpas cannot take their grandsons on a kayak ride
that some people live in a world where families cannot enjoy each other's company over grilled food and street hockey games
Without the ultimate sacrifices of so many soldiers and their families throughout this nation's history, we would not have had the opportunity to experience all of the wonderfulness that today had to offer. America is not perfect by any means, but we are lucky that its flaws are primarily those that make the blood of the average citizen boil, not shed. We can debate on many things, but our freedom to debate should always be recognized; and that freedom is guarded for us by the US Troops that stand at their posts keeping our country from becoming a victim of the enemies that want to knock us down. Today, please remember the reason why you had the day off from work and school....and please say a prayer for all of the American Soldiers that will not make it to another family cookout because they died while ensuring that we continue to have them.
