Birthday Celebration Take 2

Yesterday Hunter got to be the birthday boy yet again as we had a little shindig with our immediate family to celebrate Bub's finishing up his second year.  Our front porch was transformed into a jungle (well...that is if you used your imagination), there was tropical music playing in the back ground, and everyone participated in the party games featuring The Banana Hunt, The Banana Bash, and Monkey See Monkey Do. Bubs loved being the center of attention and enjoyed watching the adults mimic all of his favorite things to sing and do.

Bub's was again hooked up by the folks who love him and he made out like a bandit with some awesome birthday gifts: a new scooter, an all inclusive tool bench, 2 remote control cars, some new socks (which he had to try on right away), lots of solar system/space gear (which will be perfect for when I re-decor his room this fall), some new clothes, a new NYC hat, a big bucket of street hockey balls, new books, a basketball hoop, new indoor shoes.....he loved them all.

Overall I think the party was a success and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.  But as is the case we these types of things, I have been plotting and planning it for so long, that now I am sad that it is over.  The remedy for that is start scheming for something else,  hmmmmm, what should we do next.....
