Can you believe Hunter already had his 4 month check-up? Yes I realize I say this all the time, but I really cannot get over how quickly he is growing up...and its only just the beginning. In any case, Hunter got another clean bill of health. Here are his current stats:
Height - 26.75 in (97.10%)
Weight - 16 lb 3.4 oz (82.49%)
BMI - 15.93 kg/m2
HC - 42.8 cm (71.43%)
Everything else checked out perfectly, he is healthy as a horse!!
This week we attended Hunter's first live concert. I took him to my cousin Paul's band concert. He behaved better than I thought he would, although I did have to give him a lecture about containing bodily functions, as whenever the room was quite he let out some audible belches. Unfortunately, as soon as Paul's group started playing, Hunter began is tired screeching and we had to leave the auditorium. I did get to listen and peak through the cracks of the doors, so I didn't completely miss the show.
Here is Hunter all set to get to the concert...
My cousin Paul is the tall one in the back with the red tie (the one who doesn't look like he really wants to be there....even though in reality he loves it)
Last night Hunter had his first experience with rice cereal. Lets just say, we wouldn't exactly call it a success, but it was a fun first try anyway.
First we got everything prepared...
Handsome Hunter waiting patiently as we get prepared...
The very first time Hunter has ever worn a bib...
Hunter: "Ummmm, what are you guys about to do to me???"
We only attempted the cereal until he started screaming. He was so traumatized that when we tried to hold the spoon up just for a photo op after the fact, he kept turning his head away from it...
So we ended the night with a hot bath and some cozy Christmas pj's to make him feel better (don't you just love the reindeer bumski)...
Tonight we did round 2 of the rice cereal attempt...not too much better than the previous, although he did swallow a bite this time instead of spitting it all out...Don't worry Hunter, practice makes perfect, we will get it eventually!
he will get use to it. he is a light wright. :) i am glad i got to experience the first time. but where is that video? everyone has to see it. i am with you i can't believe 4 months already. Hunter stop growing you need to stay a baby forever. love you all.
