Dance Party

Every morning after we eat breakfast Hunter and I will put my ipod on shuffle and have a mini dance party in the kitchen. He dances in his chair while I do my thing standing up. For those of you who have been lucky enough never to have had to be witness to my dance moves, I will be the first to admit that I'm not exactly one who should be putting on a show in my curtainless/shadeless, big window kitchen for the whole world to see...but Hunter gets a kick out of it, and that is really all that matters in the end. When he gets bored while I make and eat my own breakfast, all I have to do is throw in a couple of my moves and it cheers him right up.  He especially likes when I start up the Running Man and when I throw the Fishing Line his way to reel him in. I should also probably disclose that my ipod has a pretty diverse range of music...it stems from Metallica and All That Remains to Disney Classics and Show tunes; from Dropkick Murphy's and Reel Big Fish to James Galway the Flute Soloist and cheesy 80's Love Songs. I pretty much have every genre imaginable on there, and I dance the same to every song that comes on...that should paint you a picture of just how bad I really am!!!

Speaking of music...is anyone else just as annoyed as I am that the oldies radio station no longer plays oldies music? Now it plays 70s and 80s, what's up with that?  I want the classics from the 40s, 50s, and 60s!

Here are just a couple of new pictures taken yesterday of my cutie pie. He wasn't being too cooperative with holding still so I could take them, so I didn't get too many good ones. Yesterday he was sporting his Fenway shirt in honor of the announcement of the new Manager (I don't know anything about Valentine, but from the recaps on a muted Sports Center he looks to be pretty passionate about the game) and his Timberland gear given to him by his Aunty Scrone. Doesn't he look like he just belongs in Boston?

  1. Mushy! Scrone misses him already! That hat looks like it will only fit a few more weeks! He's getting so big!
