'Twas the night before Christmas and in the Light house
I spent a low-key afternoon with my son and my spouse
The Patriots were on, the first half was a bore,
I almost left early to go to the store;
Thank goodness I didn't, the Pats turned it around,
I should have known better, Brady hardly ever lets me down
Alex is sick and bogged down with a cold,
His constant complaining is starting to get old;
After lots of playing, Hunter went down for a nap,
Which worked out well as I still had presents to wrap
Until Santa fills them, the stockings hang on the wall,
There was no where else to put them, we hope they don't fall
Now we are ending the evening with a movie or two,
How late we will stay up, we haven't a clue;
We hope this Christmas Eve you are all able to relax
At the very least have fun. Love Beth, Alex, Hunter, Charlie, and Maxx
Stay tuned for previews of "How the Bearded Dragon Stole Christmas":
