Easter Festivities

Hunter had an amazing first Easter. We started the day by having cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast (OK...mom and dad had the eggs...Huntski just had some Similac). Then the Light Trio and Grandpa Bill met up at Church for the traditional Easter Mass. The afternoon was spent down at Grandpa Bill and Margaret's house where we were also accompanied by our New Hampshire Family. Hunter loved being able to spend time with his older cousins! After an early dinner we set out on foot to some near by cranberry bogs so the kids could let loose the kites that the Easter bunny left in their baskets this morning. Thanks to the blustering wind, getting the kites up in the air was no trouble at all. It has been years since I have been a part of a kite-flying extravaganza, I had forgotten how much fun they can be. I wouldn't be surprised if a kite or two ended up in our beach bag this summer!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend too!!!!

Here are some photos of today's events:

Excuse me Hunter, but holding on to your dad while he walks forward does not mean you have crawled forward! That's cheating!!!

Hunter: "Uh, dude, you're in my bubble"

Playtime with Amara

Hunter loves the fact that his cousins now know the "Where's the Bubski" game

"Cheese"
Let's go Fly a Kite!

The kids had their serious faces on as they maneuvered the paper birds through the air

It took a few tries, but eventually all 3 kites where in the air at the same time

It was too cold for Hunter to be at the bogs so he took that time to hunker down to watch the Masters with Grandpa Bill.  Ugh, the first time I get to watch TV in 40 days and it is spent watching golf...boring!
